During those laborious 8AM science labs or the sleep-inducing morning lectures, you will soon find that coffee will be an essential part of your morning ritual. Whether you will be recharging from an obnoxious hangover or recovering from pulling an all nighter to study for a calculus final, that cup of joe always seems to make the day a little more tolerable.

Luckily for Elmhurst College (EC) students, the search for a caffeine fix won’t be difficult. There are numerous coffee shops located within walking distance from the college campus. Here are just a few of the local coffee hotspots:

The cafe offers a selection of Starbucks products such as their regular Pike’s Place along with other familiar beverages like the Caramel Macchiato, the Vanilla Latte, and the Coffee Frappuccino, all of which can be purchased using your Jaypass.  Peak hours at the Frick Center tend to fall in between morning class schedules and during protected hour.
